Obatzter

Delicious Obatzter. A typical Bavarian bread spread, to be found here in every beer garden and certainly at the Oktoberfest on the menu.
I love Obatzter because it’s really tasty and perfectly fits to pretzels and pretzel sticks.
Maybe you will have a picnic with your loved ones just like me. Ideally you could combine it with a bike ride and a “Radler”. I think you call it shandy, a mixture of beer and lemonade. My poor friend had to give up the bike tour because we just picnicked in our garden.
I think he was pleased anyway, mainly because I made a refreshing cucumber radish salad as side dish. I will show you the recipe for this salad next week, right here on my blog.
